We offer parent coaching and family coaching.
Do you want to prevent problems and have a healthy, happy, and successful family? Do you feel like you need some extra parent coaching for your young child, youth, or teenager? Do you just need a little extra support or someone to really listen?
Maybe your little child is "burning you out." Maybe you want to send your teenager to a therapeutic boarding school or a wilderness program. Or maybe you've already sent them! You may sense the huge risks in transitioning your child back to an unchanged, unsupported home environment.

How can a family coach help me and my family?
Our purpose is preventative. A family coach offers youth and parent coaching before situations become too serious and family counseling is needed. Core Voyage Family Coaching may be more appealing or appropriate for you than family counseling. We help your family achieve goals and new beginnings.
You decide your family goals and what your family will call success. A family coach may also be a mental health counselor, but family coaching does not replace family counseling. Family Coaching is different than family counseling in that it is completely focused on your own family objectives and strengths, not on a treatment plan or a mental illness.
We help your son or daughter discover core values, set personal or relationship goals, and supportively motivate them to action. A familiy coach supports your family through any life transition. Parent coaching is helpful for parents with small children, youth, and teenagers. If you want to have a healthy, happy, successful family, consider a family coach.
Family coaching, family counseling, or therapeutic boarding school?
A family coach is not a substitute for family counseling, or a therapeutic boarding school, or a wilderness program. There are many great programs like these out there. They may or may not be appropriate for your needs. A therapeutic boarding school or wilderness program may not be able to promise you ongoing parent coaching once your child has been "discharged." A family coach can support you in making improvements while your child is away from home or for any family transition.
